First bounded action
Hold contact point and bow speed constant on one open string. Change only bow weight until the tone stabilizes.
How to check it
You should be able to repeat the same sound three times without correcting mid-bow.
Stop condition
Once repeatable, change only one additional variable.
What this route cannot tell you
This route can help name an observable violin problem and choose a bounded test. It does not override the learner's current teacher or diagnose an individual player from a webpage.
