First bounded action
Play or sing the target pitch, pause, then reproduce it. Compare only after committing to the attempt.
How to check it
You can identify whether the second pitch is higher or lower before moving the finger.
Stop condition
Stop after five correct higher/lower judgments.
What this route cannot tell you
This route can help name an observable violin problem and choose a bounded test. It does not override the learner's current teacher or diagnose an individual player from a webpage.
