Controlled spiccato emerges from a small horizontal stroke interacting with the bow's natural spring.
This governed route starts from what you can observe. It is source material and routing help, not a replacement for the current teacher seeing the player.

First bounded action
At the balance region, make a small on-string stroke and gradually reduce contact instead of lifting the bow deliberately.
How to check it
The bow returns predictably with a low, even rebound.
Stop condition
Stop after eight even strokes; do not increase height before control.
What this route cannot tell you
This route can help name an observable violin problem and choose a bounded test. It does not override the learner's current teacher or diagnose an individual player from a webpage.
