Reduce the passage to two notes. Prepare the left finger before the bow changes, then restore exact simultaneity.
How to check it
The new pitch begins cleanly with no smear or delayed finger.
Stop condition
Stop after five clean two-note cycles, then add one note.
What this route cannot tell you
This route can help name an observable violin problem and choose a bounded test. It does not override the learner's current teacher or diagnose an individual player from a webpage.
